Woah. In a surprise move to you and me both, it is here as promised: the first part of the Panzer Dragoon episode.
In it, you’ll get the series background, see some FMVs from the games, and watch gameplay from throughout all 6 episodes of the Saturn original.
There are several notable things about this baby: it was rendered with my own Custom Profile, giving it a HUGE bit-rate and quality boost; it has real console captures, not the next-best emulator (a particularly poor substitute in Saturn’s case); and it has great new effects and transitions. Forgive me if I seem a bit proud of this one–I owe some of it to the real WMM gurus and their references.
Downsides: it’s not very long, and I’m thinking now that it could have used more gameplay (there’s about an hour’s worth to spare). Also, it’s not so much about the humour this time, which may disappoint.
Still, I thoroughly hope you enjoy it–and get psyched for the next 2 parts!

Watched it and it looked great! I commented on the actual video as well and most of my thoughts went there. Just for an added bonus, throw up some more of the extra video you have. I’d watch it. Anyway, great job on the new graphics and presentation. It looked great.

The next one should be much quicker, within the next 2 weeks I hope. In the interim, I’ll do a little Episode 5 commentary (that one has always given me substantial trouble…), and maybe a countdown of Favourite Moments from the game.
